Texas A&M University – Education Complex and Music Building

New 90,000 SF music education building designed to engage students, faculty and visitor

interest and support the school’s strong and growing music program. The new building

includes many acoustically critical spaces including rehearsal spaces for concert band,

choral, jazz and orchestra, faculty offices, student practice rooms, lecture halls, labs, a

new recording studio, conference rooms and collaborative spaces for student

engagement.



In addition to acoustical consulting, AD provided Audio/Visual Systems Design Services

including sound reinforcement and recording systems, video projection systems, and

associated control systems for the Concert Hall, Recital Hall and Recording Studios.

Design also included AV systems for the large rehearsal rooms and teaching spaces

which incorporated distance learning systems for multi-institutional collaborations.
