WPVI-TV Philadelphia

New 120,000 SF, two-story building provides a creative work environment for 300 company employees and functions as a state-of-the-art HDTV broadcast facility and ABC local news affiliate. The building was designed with the intention of achieving LEED-NC certification. Notable scope elements include two large column free television studio with 22′ high ceilings (one 5,000 SF and one 3,000 SF), main newsroom and enclosed parking for approximately 30 news vehicles. The entire building achieves a high degree of acoustic control in order to meet the requirements of a 24/7 network broadcast facility.
