Seth Lunick, Consultant, Acoustics

An acoustical engineering and music graduate from The University of Hartford, Seth brings a passion and background in music performance and sound technology with academics and modern practices in acoustical engineering. His work with an architecture firm as part of his Senior Capstone Project provided hands-on training and experience using sound measurement instruments, collecting data, performing calculations and analyzing data to generate recommendations for design improvements. In addition to knowledge of acoustic theories and industry practices, his capabilities include use of acoustical tools and acoustical models for analytical aspects of project work. He is proficient in data collection and analysis to help quantify space acoustics. His mathematics background and acumen is regularly tapped for running important calculations to clarify existing conditions and establishing acoustical performance goals. In addition to strong technical skills, Seth offers excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. He is a musician and plays the euphonuim and trombone. His past volunteer work offers valuable insights to community based initiatives to improve people’s lives.
