Amy Ziffer, Designer, Acoustics

Amy has a Bachelor of Music in Audio Engineering from the Berklee College of Music and studied architectural acoustics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earning a Master of Science in Architectural Sciences. She worked as an audio engineer in the entertainment industry and as a writer and editor for audio industry trade and consumer magazines before taking a long side trip as a landscape designer. She’s now a designer in acoustics with Acoustic Distinctions, indulging her strong interest in the integration—acoustic and otherwise—of indoor and outdoor built environments as well as sustainability initiatives.
